Intrusion Prevention Solutions

Host Intrusion (Agent Based Solutions)

  • Three layers of protection—behavioral rules, signatures analysis, and stateful firewall for Microsoft Windows—prevent intrusions, protect assets, and keep your servers up and running; even defend your servers against unknown zero-day exploits, as well as reduce threats between patch deployments,
  • Web and database server protection
    Protect web and database servers from attacks like directory traversal and SQL injection attacks by using unique Host Intrusion Prevention protection technology
  • Vulnerability shielding
    Automatic security content updates target specific vulnerabilities, recognize unknown exploits and stop them from executing;
  • Advanced application protection
    Put an “envelope” around an application to prevent it from communicating with other applications; this prevents applications from being leveraged in any type of attack
  • Prevents buffer-overflow exploits
    Host Intrusion Prevention uses a patented host intrusion technology to prevent buffer-overflow attacks, one of the most common methods of attacking servers and desktops
  • Firewall protection
    Monitor both inbound and outbound network traffic on servers with the stateful Windows firewall; keep an eye on and protect applications that are installed on a server

Network Intrusion Prevention Appliances

A properly designed and configured network intrusion prevention system (Network IPS) helps satisfy gateway and core datacenter requirements. While continuing to pass legitimate network traffic, a Network IPS is capable of successfully and repeatedly repelling network-borne attacks aimed at network services, servers, and clients. They protect against threats including buffer overflows, worms targeting vulnerabilities in network services, and rate-based denials-of-service. Having been designed to introduce minimal latency, they are suitable for deployments both near perimeter Internet and WAN connections as well as at the core of an organization’s network. While providing security to the network, a Network IPS can additionally alert on, log, and report attack attempts.  Our enterprise class appliances rate up to 10Gigabits, tie in with SIM solutions and are a critical component of an enterprise class security strategy.
